"KARMA SHREE" The Chief Minister's Award For Excellence in Public Administration
- In order to acknowledge, recognize and reward the extra ordinary exemplary and innovative work done by the officers of the State Govt., a scheme, "KARMA SHREE" the Chief Minister's award for excellence in public administration has been instituted.
- The award will be given for Innovation in Public Administration and outstanding implementation of Govt schemes, policies and programmes.
- Officers of State Governments individually or as a group will be eligible for the award. Not more than 3(three) officers including the applicant will be allowed in a group.
- There is a total of 12 awards under Two(2) categories and each award consists of Rupees One Lakh (Rs. 1,00,000), a trophy and a citation.The award will be given every year.
- The award will be given for Innovation in Public Administration and outstanding implementation of Govt schemes, policies and programmes.
The CM Awards are given in the following 2(Two) categories:
Category I: 6 (six) awards for Implementation of Government Scheme, Policies and Programmes from 6 (six) departments; under this category, a comprehensive picture of the progress achieved across the schemes and their effectiveness over the implementation period will be taken into account.
Category – II: 6 (six) awards for Innovation in Public Administration: The Award recognize innovations at the level of Government Department/PSUs and Districts. 3(three) awards for Administrative Department/PSUs and 3(three) awards for Districts.
