Prime Minister's Award s for Excellence in Public Administration.

Government of India has instituted a scheme, “Prime Minister’s Awards for Excellence in Public Administration” - to acknowledge, recognize and reward the extraordinary and innovative work done by District s / organizations of the Central and State Governments. 2. The award s are given every year for Excellence in impleme nting identified Priority Programme s of Government of India and extraordinary and innovative work done by the Organizations of Central/ State Government s / District s in p ublic g overnance. a) For the awards to be presented on Civil Services Day 201 9 , the following four P riority P rogrammes have been identified: i. National Agriculture Market (e - NAM) ii. National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM) iii. SAUBHAGYA (Pradhan Mantri Sahaj Bijli Har Ghar Yojana) iv. Mission Indradhanush b) Two a ward s shall also be given to Organizations of Central/ State Government s / District s for Innovat ions in environment conservation, disaster management, water conservation, energy, education and health, women and child centric initiatives etc ., of which one shall be given for innovations by Aspirational districts , under the Aspirational District s Programme ( ADP) .
